I like that it has a more secure clamp feature, but the screw in nature of the lights make it hard to twist the arms to get the light angled correctly without unscrewing the bulbs altogether.

It’s too early to tell if my plants are responding to the extra light. The blue light on the remote is annoying, especially when it’s flashing after the lights turn off automatically. One of the bulbs had a little rust on the metal ends, but it still works and doesn’t seem to be an issue. The power cord could be a foot or two longer.

I just turned it on. I’m having trouble figuring out why it shuts off once I set the timer. It seems to be a toggle button. When I set it to 12 hours the light turns on, then turns off. So when I select the power you would think it would turn it off – the lights are all on (on the power panel, but the lights to the grow area won’t work. so when I select the power button then all the lights on the power strip work, but I cannot select the number of hours needed (it won’t light up). The power panel is confusing. The instructions not so helpful. perhaps I am to set the 3, 6, or 12 hour setting first? Then just select the power to go on? I’m leaving it. I guess I will find out in 12 hours if I have it still set on the auto timer or not. Unable to tell. The function of the timer is the only downside it seems at this point. Hindsight – I wish I would have bought the clip instead of the clamp, but wasn’t sure how sturdy the clip would be and didn’t want it to easily fall off. The other other issue is the CORD is NOT long enough and it unplugs too easily. IT should have a larger end on the plug that goes into the electrical receptacle for a snugger fit. When I tried to turn it on it came unplugged 3 times. Super frustrating. That and not being able to figure out how to set the timer and to get it to turn on. It seems to work backwards. I’d think it should be to set the timer to the number of hours first and then it would turn on. Instead it seemed to turn off (which appeared to undo the timer settings) not sure, we will see..

I have a similar product/grow light that I think is from the same company. So I repeated my Amazon order. This time instead of a clip it was more of a vice with a screw. This works so much better than the clip. It’s more stable and I’m able to position the lights. My previous order had 3 lights and this only has 2. I would still probably order again.

I’ve only had it for a day but I like the fact that it can be used as a regular lamp unlike the red/blue grow lights. Unlike most grow lights, the led bulbs are replaceable. The lamp is very sturdy and the clamp is strong. A nice feature is that the clamp has padding on both sides to protect whatever you clamp it to.
